The Hunt

This large commanding piece depicts the race between the hunter and the hunted. The stag has found a trail full of heavy thickets that may slow down the dogs. Inspired by early overmantels, this piece was created in early folk style with layers of trees lighted by the rising sun. This large piece is an oil painting on wood.
